Posting out of fear.
I’ve been verbally assaulted for not updating in almost a month, so fearing bodily harm I figured I’d put some things on the back burner, namely my stumbles, my emails and ohh yeah work, to post up and let everybody know what the deal is. (all 2 of my readers, but seriously thanks for reading guys)
I think bullet points with brief details will suffice.
- Started running and hitting the gym every day: This was something I had been really good about but somewhere along the lines I stopped doing it, when I stepped on the scale a while back and it kindly asked me to step off cause I was crushing it I thought it a good time to get back into that habit.
- Decided to run a half marathon in September: This was actually an impromptu decision I was talking about running with a friend the conversation that follows is verbatim.
Me: I really like to run.
Joanne: Ohh yeah wanna do a half marathon downtown?
Me: Yep, (no thought put into this) When? (please not next week)
Joanne: September.
Me: (Ohhh thank God) Yeah cool lets do it.
In retrospect this may have been a little ballsy but what’s the worst that could happen, I cramp to death. And that’s a risk I’m willing to take, dude I get a free t-shirt when I finish where’s the downside? Ohh yeah cramping to death, well what ever. At least there’s a reason I’m at the gym now.
- Bought a new bike: Cause one more blog entry about how I had to dissasemble my current ride to fix it was going to be the death of me. I’m keeping it and it’ll eventually get fixed but for now NEW BIKE! w00t! (zero’s in georgia font don’t look like zero’s at all.)
- Still running; I started logging miles, the guy at the Pearl Izumi store said it’s always good to log miles cause then you can see your total progress of miles run and your incremental progress as you start to run further so since the beginning of May I’ve logged 79 miles and increments have gone from 2-3 to 4-5 miles per run.
- Bought Laura a new bike: After I got mine I though it would be a nice anniversary present to hook Laura up with one. Turns out it was nice and she’s eternally grateful.
- Found out my bikes on back order…..LAME
- Did a photo shoot for PwndCast: It’s a web vid-cast, lotsa fun check out pics at www.pwndcast.com
- Went on vacation with family to Daytona Beach: More fun than the photo shoot too much for this post but pics soon…well soon-ish.
- Still waiting on bike: The good news is it should be in by the 15th.
- Picked up Laura’s bike: TOTALLY FREAKIN SWEET!
- Still waiting on mine……LAME, not delayed but every minute is like a day. Patience really is a virtue. I have little to none.
So that’s the last month in a nutshell like I said I’ll do my best to elaborate on the vacation and post some pics, and I’ll post some pics of Laura’s bike, and mine when it comes in. So thanks for reading and those of you who nagged me to post, thanks for the nagging.

As for me, I’m supposed to be going to a waterpark later this month for a friend’s birthday. And also my lady friend might come. I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror. Not only has Korean food caused my gut to go away (ok), but it tok much of my already measly supply of muscle with it (not ok)! I figured it was time to get into swimsuit shape and decided, last night actually, to do 40 push-ups!
Shit dude! That’s shit’s not easy!!!!!! I got to 20 and was like, “omg what was I thinking?!?!?!”
